Meet the characters from Problems
From a moth couple with marital problems to the world's worst sales woman, meet the lovable odd bods that make up Australia's most surreal comedy sketch show.

MORGAN AND MOONEY (Anthony Morgan and Lawrence Mooney)
From their front lawn seat under the calming hum of high voltage lines these Suburban philosophers have cracked open a stubby to contemplate life's wonders. Their sublime musings on whether Kylie Minogue would be a handy fly fisher or what colour bin is best for a dead possum make them the perfect opening to each episode of Problems.
-
UNCLE WARWICK SIMMONS (Sam Simmons)
Meet the host of Mid-Morning Trivia at the local community centre. Warwick Simmons is a man who shouldn’t be let out of the house, let alone allowed to host a weekly trivia gig. To take away the prize you won’t need general knowledge, but it’ll help if you know the answer to questions like, “In which town was Don Bradman built?”
-
THE MALL BARGAIN MAN (Dave Quirk)
Dave Quirk has a two-dollar shop that stocks everything imaginable, apart from anything that you would want. Perhaps the only man in the universe who is as awkward as Sam, their meetings blossom into a strange, but oddly touching, friendship.
-
CLAUDIA (Claudia O'Doherty)
Claudia O’Doherty plays the salesperson who went to the mall and never came back and she’s not packing up her pop up stall until she finds that item that everyone wants. Be it fantasy portraits or Halloween themed Christmas trees Claudia sells with all of her soul to an unforgiving and disinterested public from her rickety stall in a distant mall somewhere in Australia.

THE MOTHS (Gary Sweet and Susie Porter)
One of the great Australian love stories is happening right under Sam’s bum. The two moths down the back of Sam’s couch are having marital issues. Mr Moth is a loser addicted to mothballs and his chain-smoking wife is bitter about having to raise the larvae by herself. A true portrait of a Bogong moth relationship on the rocks.
