
Episode 1: Islington
In the opening episode, Nick is on his home turf, Islington, eating a Vietnamese banquet at The Little Viet Kitchen, sharing a mega-sized cowboy chop at the Pig and Butcher with one of his comedy heroes, Bob Mortimer and arranging to meet his girlfriend for an anniversary dinner at their favourite restaurant, Rotorino. But will she turn up?
Episode 2: Camden
Following his recent break-up, Nick wakes up in Camden. After sleeping on his mate Mark Smith's sofa, Nick takes him for a thank you breakfast at smokehouse Q Grill. A liquid lunch at an underground speakeasy where he invents his own cocktail is on the menu before Nick samples the food stalls at Kerb Street Food market. Trying to cheer himself up he meets vegan, Morgana Robinson for an early dinner at an Argentinian steakhouse.
Episode 3: Leeds
Nick travels to Leeds with his best mate David Trent, where they tuck into Yorkshire pudding wraps for breakfast before Nick seeks out some chicken soup to help mend his broken heart at Jewish deli, Ira B's. After picking up David's shiny shoes from his parents' house where they share cheesecake, Nick ends his day by fulfilling his dream of meeting his food hero, chef Michael O'Hare before eating a sixteen-course taster menu at his restaurant The Man Behind The Curtain.
Episode 4: Brighton
Nick goes to Brighton to catch up with some old friends and take his mind off his ex. First stop is Nowhere Man, a café specialising in American pancakes before a heart-to-heart over fish and chips on the beach, in the rain, with one of his best friends. Then it's onto Brighton vegetarian institution Terre a Terre for dinner with Thunder's Luke Morley, before rounding off his day with a bag of Churros and a ride on the Crazymouse.
