1 NAME OF COMPETITION: Red Dwarf Extra Competition.
2 METHOD OF ENTRY AND COMPETITION QUESTION: To enter, you must retweet the competition activation tweet, posted from the @Join_Dave twitter account at around 9:30am on Tuesday 8 September 2015.
3 PRIZE: 3.1. There will be one prize winner (the "Winner").
3.2. The prize shall consist of a role for the Winner and a friend to act as extras in a new series of Red Dwarf, scheduled to air on UKTV's Dave channel in 2016 (the "Prize").
3.3. The Prize includes one full day on set at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire or such other UK location to be confirmed by the Prize Provider.
3.4. No alternative prize will be given and the Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, UKTV reserves the right to change the Prize due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer an alternative prize of similar value.
3.5. The Winner agrees to absolve UKTV from any liability that may result from or is claimed to have resulted from participating in the Competition or from the acceptance or use of the Prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions in any way limits the Promoter, the Prize Provider (or any other person or organisation's) liability for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
4 SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS:
4.1. All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and a legal resident in the UK.
4.2. All entrants must be available between November 2015 and February 2016 for filming. The Winner will be notified of specific date, time and location details at least twenty one (21) days before the filming date.
4.3. UKTV will provide the Winner with a total cash sum of £250 (two hundred and fifty pounds sterling) to cover travel and food expenses. The Winner shall be responsible for arranging their own and their friend's transport to and from the filming location.
4.4. Employees of UKTV or any company associated with this Competition and their relatives are expressly forbidden from entering the Competition.
4.5. All entrants must have the internet service or mobile device bill payer's permission prior to entering.
4.6. The Winner and their friend must undergo a background check prior to filming. Once the Winner has accepted the prize they and their designated friend must supply UKTV with the appropriate forms of identification in order to carry out a full background check. If the background check is not satisfactory this may lead to the Prize being withdrawn and a new winner selected.
4.7. Due to the nature of the filming and editing process, UKTV offers no guarantee that the Winner or their friend will appear in Red Dwarf XI or any UKTV programming and UKTV reserves all editing rights.
4.8. The Winner agrees to sign any release forms or other documents waiving rights in use of their image and in any contribution they make to filming.
4.9. The Winner must adhere to the prize Provider's rules, regulations and health and safety protocols when on set and sign all legal documentation required by the Prize Provider on, before or after filming.
4.10. The Prize may not be suitable for wheelchair users - the Winner must notify UKTV immediately if they are a wheelchair user.
5 COMPETITION PERIOD: 5.1. The Competition will be open between 9:30am on Tuesday 8 September and 9:30am on Wednesday 9 September.
5.2. Any entries received outside of the Competition Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid but you may still be charged for the entry where costs apply.
6 WINNER SELECTION: 6.1. The Winner will be the first correct entry to be selected at random at the end of the Competition Period from all correct and eligible entries received. Winner selection by UKTV is final and no correspondence will be entered into whatsoever regarding Winner selection.
6.2. The Winner will be notified of their selection by direct message on their twitter account.
6.3. The Winner must claim the Prize by successfully responding to the Promoter's notification by email or telephone within twenty one (21) days of the Promoter's first notification being sent.
7 METHOD OF ENTRY & COST: 8 You can enter this Competition free of charge on Twitter as per the process described in section 2. You may need to register yourself, free of charge, on Twitter.
9 ENTRY LIMITATIONS:
9.1. Only one entry per person is allowed and in the case of multiple entries, only the original entry will be counted.
9.2. Any automated entries made by a 'bot' or by using any similar automated third party programme to submit multiple entries will be grounds for immediate disqualification.
9.3. Where a Winner has been selected and UKTV discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that Winner has used a 'bot' or similar third party software to submit multiple entries, UKTV shall have the absolute discretion to select an alternative winner. Any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these terms and conditions.
10 .PROMOTER: 10.1. This Competition is offered to you by UKTV Media Limited ("UKTV"). Our registered office is at 10 Hammersmith Grove, London W6 7AP.
10.2. By entering this Competition you are submitting your details to UKTV and not to Twitter, Inc. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Twitter, Inc.

13 LAW AND JURISDICTION:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
