For the bites:
Olive oil 250g seitan 25ml franks hot sauce 25ml lime juice 1 ½ tbsp maple syrup 1 tbsp soy sauce
For the ranch dressing:
125g vegan mayonnaise 2-3 tbsp water 1 garlic clove, crushed 1 tsp dried parsley ¼ tsp dried dill ¼ tsp onion powder Salt & pepper
Sautee the seitan pieces in some olive oil in a frying pan until browned all over. Lower the heat and add all the other ingredients. Continue to cook until everything has thickened and reduced to a sticky sauce- this will take 3-4 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl for the ranch dressing and serve with the bites
