The likes of Jimmy Carr, Phill Jupitus, Dara O'Briain and Johnny Vegas join team captains Rufus Hound and Marcus Brigstocke and host John Sergeant for a brand new and exclusive panel show that celebrates the art of the argument.

In each episode, John oversees a lively cauldron of debate as guests and team captains are asked to argue against received wisdom, as well as defend comments that any self-respecting person would find just pain wrong.

In the classic debate round, teams will be animatedly discussing such pearls of wisdom as: London should not host the Olympics in 2012; the credit crunch is no bad thing; recycling is a waste of time; and the Royal Family serve no purpose. The teams will then move on to a visual aids round and alternative 'flip-flop' round, where contestants have to argue against themselves, changing their argument around every time the bell sounds.

With plenty of lively debate, some quick thinking and some sneaky point scoring, Argumental takes all the most topical and contentious issues of the day and rips them to shreds.

I actually find this program quite amusing. The comedians are quite popular, I mean, I recognise all of them and I don't pay any attention to celebrities. Honestly, some of them are actually quite funny. I suppose this program isn't probably aimed at the wee tight-arsed geeks, as they seem to take it all too seriously. Helloo... don't take comedy shows so seriously. It's a laugh, it's a giggle. Wayhey.

John is a TERRIBLE host with absolutely no charisma or comedy talent whatsoever. He can read a teleprompter, which is just about enough to get by, but catch him off guard and he just doesn't come up with anything original whatsoever.

Theres something about this program that pisses me off...maybe it's because everyone is so posh and a bit snobby, mainly John, Marcus and Rufus...but then Marcus makes up for it for being so unbeleivably cute and funny...

The majority of comedians on the Argumental program are extremely halarious! I love the program and will do anything to watch every program. Thanks for running it, and also the other comedy programs.

Argumental is rubbish! Its full of D-list celebrities poking fun at A-list celebrities and somehow getting laughs. When are people going to realise that Marcus Brigstock is NOT FUNNY!!!! There was a "comedian" on the show tonight with a farmers accent and I thought it was a joke, but the more he spoke, the more it turned out that that was actually his accent. Dave is the best channel on TV but Argumental is really really bad!!!!!

It truly is amazing to watch the trees buckling under the weight before the fat people fall off the hammocks!! Legendary show!! But when is Dara on it??! I wanna see him on it!!!! xxx
